Holy awesome sauce! Like any outdoors enthusiast I have a variety of ground stakes. Some for sand others for hard packed dirt. Some forged steel. Others aluminum. These are the absolute best Ultralight steaks for medium to hard packed dirt. For soft soil or sand these are obviously not appropriate. I tap (not pound) them all the way into the ground, so only the loop is above the surface.I upgraded my loops with lime green Dyneema NEW ENGLAND ROPES – 2.8mm Spyderline, 1200lb. Getting this heavier line through…
Be careful which seller you pick, or you’ll really receive just one (1) peg BE CAREFUL WITH THE AMAZING DISCOUNT – as per the item description, IT REALLY IS JUST ONE (1) PEG!I was hoping for a great deal on six of these, but the other reviews led me astray. I received just one peg with the seller that was having the too good to be true discounted price. Stick with the sellers that are all similarly priced, or go to the…

And you know that is no way to stake a tent down, especially if you expect it to be even slightly windy. At that point, the aluminum stakes would start to bend…
