Indestructible I bought these mainly for use in Bishop, CA where the ground is mostly hard packed sand, rock and granite. I ended up bending every single one of the aluminum stakes that came with my tent trying to stake my tent down in that surface. The aluminum stakes would run into a granite rock and stop, with the stake still sticking halfway out. And you know that is no way to stake a tent down, especially if you expect it to be even slightly windy. At that point, the aluminum stakes would start to bend…
