- The expedition suspension featured on all Variant Series packs consists of a removable HDPE framesheet and aluminum peripheral rod
- Each Variant Series pack features a removable/interchangeable EVA foam hipbelt with modified straight ErgoPull closure
- Dual side pockets provide secure storage and easy accessibility to wands, pickets and other longer items
- A sewn-in hydration sleeve located on the inside of the backpanel accepts up to a three liter reservoir
- Floating, removable single compartment top pocket with internal key clip and under-lid zippered fabric pocket keeps often needed items organized

Best pack ever!!! This pack is AMAZING! I’ve only had it for a month, but it has proved its self already with ice climbing excursions! Very comfortable, carries exceptionally well when loaded, and I love how the crampons and ice tools attach! I am 5’3 and 110lbs. I went for size medium even though small was my recommended measurement. I did that to accommodate for winter layers and more jackets under the pack, as well to get the increase in volume (52L).
